As a kid growing up in Laguna Beach, CA I learned to love nature and the ocean at an early age. I remember collecting shells on the beach and making them into necklaces using ribbon and dental floss! I would go down to the beach on weekends and try to sell my jewelry to the local beach goers. Over the years I continued to make jewelry and my love for the fashion industry grew. I earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising in 2004 while working in women's contemporary boutiques and interning with Women's Wear Daily. In 2006 I moved to the island of Maui and fell in love with the island’s natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle. My influences behind the Buddhaful Treasures line include a combination of my Laguna Beach roots, my love for bohemian style and my travels to beautiful places like Tahiti, Fiji and Costa Rica. Buddhaful Treasures jewelry is inspired by nature's beauty and is handmade using only precious metals, freshwater pearls and semi precious stones.
